Before I Die

Life is Sweet and so it is so short
Life is short and sweet
Every moment of it
I meet and greet

I meet and greet the life in its form
As it is in its entire gamut
I am keen to embrace, hug, kiss & caress
Comfort or discomfort in its way
Ups and downs, I am nightingale, singing & gay!

Life is short and sweet
Life is sweet and so it is so short!

Span of time fleeting, yet enticing,
Mundane, ephemeral, bubbles emerging,
Yet I cherish a dream
A whim, a craze, I crave for a dream

I am allotted a role to play
A task I have to accomplish
Something novel, some extraordinary feat
I have to perform, I will be a model
Let others follow and emulate my foot prints

Life is short and sweet
Life is sweet and so it is so short!

I am resolute, a fire burning within
I am to finish, before I am finished
And with the fullest satisfaction
I will lie, before I die

Successful Hued stories to follow I will leave
Before I breathe last,
As you know
My life is fast
Life is a cast
And I stand aghast!
