The Departure
The Sky Scrappers, The dollars, the entrepreneurship and the mystery!
Calling me!
The States calling me! Dollars luring me!
From the childhood it has been my dream,
I’m of 20 now! It has turned into whim!
I want to traverse vast oceans,
I want to fly high in blues!
I want to withstand, every whim of weather!
Calling me!
The States calling me! Dollars luring me!
It’s calling me!
How can I manage? My resources are scanty…
I fear I’ll be an alien! A prey of racialism!
I’ll be departing from my native, my home,
All the kith n kins! And from my Alma Mater!
I’ll be away from my loving parents!
Calling me!
The States calling me! Dollars luring me!
It’s calling me!
I’m puzzled by the challenge!
Aloofness, homesickness – Reminiscent of near ones!
I’ll be hating my self because I’ve deserted my past!
Someone may call it “Brain-Drain”
May undervalue my love for My Motherland
Calling me!
The States calling me! Dollars luring me!
It’s calling me!
